Relevant is a public mention-monitoring service for Hacker News and Lobsters. You may use it lawfully with an inbox you control.

The service is provided as-is. Sources, classification, and delivery can fail or be delayed; a verdict is an aid, not a guarantee. Do not rely on Relevant for emergencies, legal duties, or other high-stakes monitoring.

The free version includes one watch, up to three keywords, and Hacker News plus Lobsters. The advertised $9/month founder tier is not taking payments yet. Joining the founders list does not buy anything or authorize a charge. Payments open shortly, and founders keep that price if they later choose to subscribe.
